18th National Environmental
Tar Creek Conference
About the Tar Creek Conference
LEAD Agency’s National Environmental Tar Creek Conference is held annually to inform the community on the current environmental issues and give us time to interact with program managers from the state and federal agencies and tribes who are doing work at the Tar Creek Superfund site. University researchers and health experts will report on subjects important to our residents.
Science, policy, and advocacy with the arts will be represented during the conference in photography, song, film, visual arts, and poetry.
Our hope is a healthier, happier future for Ottawa County, Northeast Oklahoma and for our Tri-state neighbors. We look forward to seeing you at this year’s conference.
